Zaha Refuses To Take A Knee

The Federal Government has been urged by Ado Oseragbaje, CEO of Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited (HEOSL), to make use of its competitive edge and endeavour to establish Nigeria as the continent of Africa's energy hub.

At the Society of Petroleum Engineers' ongoing Nigeria Annual Conference and Exhibition in Lagos, Oseragbaje made the announcement.

He claimed that as an expert in the field of energy, Nigeria could take advantage of its skilled leadership and work to achieve success for the country and raise the rank of the country in the community of countries.

The CEO made a brief statement at the beginning of the topical problems panel discussion at the conference, according to Sola Adebawo, general manager, government joint venture, and external relations, HEOSL.

The CEO of HEOSL stated, "With the goal of achieving zero net emissions by 2050, it was vital for the Nigerian energy sector to properly contextualise its role in the rapidly changing overall picture.

“At Heritage Energy Operational Services Limited (HEOSL) we believe the Nigerian industry holds a prime place in the global energy landscape.

“It is our expectation that today’s discussions will explore thoughts and ideas on how to best make the Nigerian industry realize its fullest potential.”

The Nigeria Petroleum Development Company (NPDC) and Shoreline Natural Resources Limited joint venture known as OML 30 is run by HEOSL (SNRL).

He urged participants in the sector to have candid discussions on how to best position Nigeria's energy sector for long-term profitability and relevance in the world energy market.
