Hip hop stars Travis Scott and Drake have been sued over the tragic incident that occurred at the Astroworld Festival.
The two stars are being accused of inciting the crowd, leading to the event turning deadly, with eight individuals confirmed dead.
According to a Fox News report, a lawsuit was filed on Sunday by Texas attorney Thomas J. Henry against Travis Scott (real name Jacques Bermon Webster) and Drake (born Aubrey Drake Graham).
The Daily Mail discloses that the suit is being filed on behalf of one of the concert attendees, Kristian Paredes, who hails from Austin, Texas.
23-year-old Paredes is seeking $1 million in damages after the rappers allegedly "incited the crowd" and left him with injuries.
Things got ugly at the Astroworld Festival when the crowd moved forward after Drake made an appearance on the stage.
Speaking at a news conference on Saturday, Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner confirmed that while the age of one of those who died at the event was unknown, other casualties were 14, 16, 21, 21, 23, 23, and 27.
