Lai Mohammed, the Minister of Information and Culture says Lagos EndSARS report is recycled fake news.

The minister said it was shocking that the same allegations made by Nigerians were merely compiled and submitted as a report by the panel set up to investigate the claims of police brutality

 “It is an intimidation of the majority by a minority,” Mohammed stated.

The burial plans for late Nigerian comedy legend Baba Suwe has been announced.

AllNews Nigeria reports that Adesola Omidina, a son of the late Nigerian comedy legend Baba Suwe announced that his father’s internment will hold on Thursday, November 25, 2021.

In a statement e-signed by Adesola on behalf of the family, it was revealed that the internment will commence at the deceased's residence at 26 Oluwatimiro Street, Ewu Elepe Bustop, Ijede Road, Ikorodu, Lagos, by 10 am prompt.

  • Njideka Iheme, Others Sworn In As Judge Of Federal High Court

Njideka Iheme, the daughter of former Rivers State Governor, Peter Odili and Justice Mary Odili, has just been sworn in as a Judge of the Federal High Court.

According to Peoples Gazette, the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Honourable Justice Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, swore in Iheme and and 20 others as Judges of the Federal Capital Territory High Court, on Tuesday, November 23, 2021.

Justice Njideka is married to Uzoma Nwosu Iheme, the son of Court of Appeals Judge, Justice Chioma Nwosu Iheme. 

Unknown gunmen suspected to be members of the Indigenous People of Biafra, (IPOB), have set a police station at Arondizuogu in Ideato Local Government Area of Imo State on fire.

The attack according to Daily Post occured on Tuesday morning leaving a yet-to-be identified police officer dead.

The West Africa Examination Council (WAEC) has released the result of the 2021 West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WASSCE)

The Police in Minna, Niger State yesterday announced the arrest of a spiritualist working for bandits and four suspected bandits in its ongoing war against criminal elements in the state.  

The spiritualist, one 50-year-old Samaila Umar, was arrested in Gusase village near Maikunkele in the Bosso Local Government Area on Sunday.

Samaila, according to a police statement made available to newsmen, claimed that the spiritualist was a consultant to bandits who have been hibernating between Niger, Nasarawa states and the Federal Capital Territory.
