Tuchel 'Happy' To Accept Talented Bayern Munich Squad With Its Pressure

Bayern Munich's new coach, Thomas Tuchel, has expressed his excitement at taking over one of the best clubs in the world but acknowledged the pressure that comes with the job.

Tuchel, who signed a deal to 2025 as the replacement for Julian Nagelsmann, praised Bayern's talented squad, saying that it is "one of the most talented and best squads in Europe.

"He added that the team's DNA is about winning, and his responsibility is clear: "We are here to win all the titles." Tuchel's first challenge will be against leaders Borussia Dortmund next week in the Bundesliga, followed by a Champions League quarterfinal match against Manchester City on April 11.

"I would have liked to have a few more training sessions but I won't have too many looking at the schedule and the international break this week," Tuchel said.

"There is a chance to win all the titles. There is no need for big changes in the system or the processes," he said.

Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn expressed his delight at Tuchel's impressive CV, which includes leading Paris St Germain to the Champions League final and winning the trophy with Chelsea in 2021.

"He led Paris St Germain to the Champions League final, at Chelsea he was successful from the start, won the Champions League. That's an impressive CV," said Bayern CEO Oliver Kahn.

"That shows development so we are delighted that Thomas Tuchel is now our coach."
