A helicopter and a plane are fighting a renewed blaze at the Turkish port of Iskenderun.
The Agriculture Ministry revealed on Wednesday after the fire was relatively extinguished a day earlier.
Operations at the port were shut down after a fire broke out due to the earthquakes that hit the region on Monday.
The blaze raged when containers toppled over from aftershocks following the deadly 7.7 magnitude quake.
Turkish shipping agency Tribeca added that some cargo areas of the port were still on fire and the terminal was closed to all operations until further notice.
The Turkish earthquake which was also felt in neighbouring Syria and Lebanon has killed over 7 thousand people.
Many countries have responded to the quake by sending relief packages, mobile homes, and aid workers to help the countries.
