Turkey Earthquake: One-Year-Old Pulled Out Alive After 53 Hours

Search and rescue crews pulled a 1-year-old boy to safety after the earthquakes in Turkish provinces.

53 hours after he was buried under the rubble of a five-story apartment building, the unidentified boy was removed from the debris in Şanlıurfa.

The boy appeared fine after the rescue and was taken to the hospital for treatment.

Turkey, Syria and Lebanon became a victim of the earthquake that rocked the nations on Monday.

Over 7 thousand people have been killed in the earthquake, and hundreds of buildings have been destroyed.

The Türkiye’s Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) said the earthquakes originated in the southern province of Kahramanmaraş.
