Turkey’s unwavering commitment to eradicating terrorism from its roots is evident as the National Defense Ministry reports a successful counterterrorism operation in northern Iraq.

In a decisive blow against the terrorist group PKK, three members were neutralized in the Zap region, sending a clear message that there is no safe haven for those who plot attacks against Turkey.

As the nation remains resolute in its fight against terrorism, recent developments underscore the ongoing efforts to ensure the safety and security of its citizens.

The successful counterterrorism operation, conducted as part of "Operation Claw-Lock Zone," marks another significant step towards eradicating the threat posed by the PKK.

As Turkey continues to confront terrorism head-on, its commitment to maintaining the safety and security of its citizens remains unwavering.

The PKK, a designated terrorist organization by Turkey, the US, and the EU, has a long history of carrying out attacks that have claimed the lives of thousands, including women, children, and infants.

The group has utilized hideouts in northern Iraq to plot and execute attacks on Turkey. In response to this ongoing threat, Turkey initiated a series of operations, including Claw-Tiger and Claw-Eagle, aimed at uprooting PKK terrorists from border regions.
