Twitter Blue Services Expands To 20 More Countries

More than 20 more European nations can now use the paid subscription service, Twitter Blue.

This group of nations consists of the Netherlands, Poland, Ireland, Belgium, Sweden, Romania, Czech Republic, Finland, Denmark, Greece, Austria, Hungary, Bulgaria, Lithuania, Slovakia, Latvia, Slovenia, Estonia, Croatia, Luxembourg, Malta, and Cyprus.

With the expansion, more than 35 nations around the world can now access the social network's subscription service.

Twitter Blue, which Elon Musk founded, was first introduced in December at a cost of $8 per month, along with the Blue verification mark for paying users.

Subsequently, the business added services like the ability to publish videos lasting 60 minutes, tweets with 4,000 characters or more, and priority in chats.

A thread reader, bookmark folders, and the ability to modify tweets are further legacy aspects of the concept.

In an effort to attract more users, Twitter earlier in January introduced an annual plan for $84. Twitter recently introduced the yearly package, which costs $114, on both iOS and Android.

Musk has been counting on subscription plans to generate a lot of revenue, but the early signs aren't promising.

The new Twitter Blue service only has fewer than 300,000 customers, according to estimations and statistics.

Early last week, a lot of users experienced issues using Twitter's timelines, searches, and direct messages.

These problems emerged following the most recent round of job cuts, in which Musk reportedly let go of more than 200 employees.
