Microblogging website Twitter has finally developed an edit button that allows users to modify their tweets within 30 minutes.
Developer and app researcher, Nima Owji, claimed that Twitter will only allow you 30 minutes to edit your tweets.
According to the researcher, Twitter will alert users when they post a tweet by displaying the words "Your tweet was sent. You have the next 30 minutes to update it."
According to screenshots shared by the app researcher, if you try to update your tweet after the 30-minute window has passed, a pop-up will appear on your screen notifying you that "your time to edit ran out."

For the time being, an Edit button will only be available to Twitter Blue subscribers; the cost of this service will increase to $4.99 starting in mid-October.
The company's Blue members benefit from features including an ad-free experience, Bookmark Folders, the option to undo tweets, and Reader Mode in addition to the ability to edit tweets.
To encourage more users to subscribe to the service, Twitter would strive to increase the number of features that are only available to premium subscribers.
In addition to the edit button, the microblogging platform is developing a number of new capabilities, such as the capacity to simultaneously attach images, videos, and GIFs to a tweet and the capacity to pin responses in comments.
Additionally, the firm will soon allow users to "unmention" themselves from harmful Twitter chats.
When it is ready, the microblogging platform will launch the functionality.
