Twitter Reacts As Guardiola Signs New 2-Year Deal With City

Manchester City has signed a new 2-year deal with Etihad to end all speculation suggesting his possible return to Barcelona as the Spaniard remains needed by the Catalonia club after the recent disappointment at the Camp Nou.

AllNews understands that with the new deal, Guardiola will be at the Etihad till 2023 except he was dismissed by the EPL team.

Guardiola has made known the reason for staying as the former Bayern Munich boss said, "we have some unfinished business" when referring to himself and the Etihad outfit.

He added, "As a manager, I have everything I need. We have to win, to continue, I saw how the people here support me".

Yet the renewal led so many critics of the Spaniard to mock him over the elusion of the UEFA Champions League from him since 2011-12 when he won the trophy with Barcelona.

He has since claimed over 15 trophies including the Premier League (2) and the Bundesliga (3) with other trophies in England and Germany.
