Microblogging platform, Twitter, has introduced a new feature to its platform, voice recording, allowing users to send tweets using their voices.
Twitter said that it had rolled out a test feature and, in the future, will roll out more features that will change the user experience on the app.
In a post by Twitter's product designer, Maya Patterson and software engineer, Remy Bourgoin, “Sometimes 280 characters aren’t enough and some conversational nuances are lost in translation."
The voice recording will not be longer than 140 seconds, and if a user records past the 140-second allotted mark, the remaining parts of the recording will be broken down into 'threads'.

Maya and Bourgoin said, “People will see your voice tweet appear on their timeline alongside other tweets.
“There’s a lot that can be left unsaid or uninterpreted using text, so we hope voice tweeting will create a more human experience for listeners and storytellers alike.”
It is unclear when Android users will receive this new feature, however, it is available on iOS and will be made available to “a limited group of people."
