Twitter Slams Uti Nwachukwu For Comment On Meghan Vs Royal Family Drama

Twitter Slams Uti Nwachukwu For Comment On Meghan Vs Royal F

Following the Meghan Markle and Prince Harry family drama, a lot of celebrities gave their 1 kobo on the issue.

Most praised Prince Harry for siding with his wife and protecting her from the British Royal Family. Some even asked why Peter Okoye of the defunct PSquare wasn’t celebrated for standing with his wife against his family the same way Prince Harry is been praised.

Most notable among the comments is the one of former Big Brother Africa winner, Uti Nwachukwu, who criticized Prince Harry for picking his wife over his family.

Via Twitter, Uti held that family should come first irrespective of the love for one's spouse. He added that even if the first documented Nigerian cannibal, Clifford Orji, is a member of his family, he would join no one in bringing his family down.

His comment, especially, making reference to Clifford Orji, did not go down well with Twitter users as they felt protecting a serial killer and kidnapper does not fit into the Meghan and Harry case.

Upon the backlash he received, Uti stood by his statement as he stated that even if there is a family problem, it would be settled off camera.

According to Wikipedia, Clifford Orji was the first documented Nigerian cannibal who was also indicted in serial killings, kidnappings, and the sale of human body parts and was arrested in 1999. Orji died on August 12, 2012, in Nigeria's only super-maximum penitentiary where he spent 13 years.
