The social networking company suspended its recently announced $8 blue check subscription programme on Friday because of the proliferation of bogus accounts, and new owner Elon Musk reinstated the "official" badge for some users.
Since the recent roll-out, fake accounts posing as well-known companies have appeared with the blue check, including Musk's SpaceX, Tesla, and Roblox in addition to Nestle, Lockheed Martin, and Nestle.
Musk stated in a tweet from yesterday that Twitter Blue would likely"come back end of next week".
