Golden Eaglets forward Abubakar Abdullahi has said his teammates will not underrate Burkina Faso in the quarter-finals of the Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
The Eaglets and Burkina Faso reached the last eight of the competition after coming from behind to beat and dump out South Africa and Cameroon respectively.
Abdullahi netted the winner in Nigeria's final group stage match against the Amajimbos of South Africa to seal a 3-2 comeback victory for the Eagles last Saturday.
Speaking about the upcoming game, Abdullahi said: "I feel much relieved after I scored against South Africa. I scored 3 goals in WAFU last year.
"We will not underrate Burkina Faso but play our game with a strong mentality to win as our coaches have taught us."
The Eaglets will trade tackles with Burkina Faso in the quarter-final of the competition on Thursday by 8:00pm.
A win for the Eaglets against the Burkinababes will earn them the opportunity to represent Africa at the FIFA U17 World Cup.
