Flying Eagles head coach Ladan Bosso has played down his team's victory over host nation Argentina at the FIFA U-20 World Cup.
The Eagles won 2-0 to move into the quarter-finals of the tournament on Wednesday.
Ibrahim Muhammad and Rilwanu Haliru Sarki scored the goals to end a run of 10 straight U-20 World Cup victories for six-time champions Argentina.
"We had a game plan against Argentina and we stuck to it.
"Beating Argentina is no big deal." Bosso said at his post-match interview.
The match outcome makes it Nigeria's third win in four matches, only losing to Brazil in their final group game in Group D.
Two of their three wins have come against Italy and now Argentina which sends a message that Bosso's men are a force to reckon with in the tournament.
Next opponent for the Eagles will be the winner between Korea Republic and Ecuador for a quarter-final clash on Sunday.
