U-20 World Cup: Eletu Reveals Tactics Of Flying Eagles In Beating Italy

Flying Eagles midfielder Victor Eletu has revealed the tactics used by his side to outclass Italy in their Group D encounter at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup on Wednesday.

The Flying Eagles won the game 2-0 courtesy of goals scored by Salim Fago and Jude Sunday.

Commenting on the Eagles' victory, Eletu stated that his side were able to overcome Italy because they were united.

“I know we can go far in this competition because we have a very good team,” said the AC Milan youngster who was handed his first start of the competition against the Italians.

"We played as a team and that’s why we could beat a strong opponent like Italy."

The Flying Eagles will next lock horns with Brazil in their last group game on Saturday.
