Flying Eagles midfielder Victor Eletu has admonished his teammates to play as a team to defeat Italy at the ongoing 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
Both teams will trade tackles on Wednesday in a game that will determine who qualifies first from the group.
While the Eagles edged past the Dominican Republic in their opening match, Italy stunned five-time champion Brazil.
“It will be a tough game (vs Italy) as three, four of their players have already played for their first-team clubs,” Eletu told NFF TV.
“The only way we can beat them is to play as a team.
“We will give our best to qualify for the next round.”
The Flying Eagles occupy second position, behind Italy on goal difference, but could go top and qualify first in Group D with a win.
