U-20 World Cup: Flying Eagles Victory Over Italy Dedicated To Critics — Bosso

Ladan Bosso, Flying Eagles coach, has dedicated his team’s victory against Italy to critics.

The Eagles beat the Gil Azzurrini 2-0 on Wednesday night to move into the last 16 at the 2023 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Mendoza.

This was against the prediction of bookmakers who fancied the Italians to outclass the Eagles, having defeated pre-tournament favourites Brazil 3-2 in their first game.

“I dedicate this victory to those who criticise me,” Bosso told a press conference after the game.

“Their criticisms have certainly kept me on my toes.”

The Eagles will now face Brazil in their last group game on Saturday.
