The U.S. House on Thursday voted to set restrictions on Donald Trump's future military action against current military adversary, Iran. The house seeks to limit congressional war powers of the president after his arbitrary military action against Iran.
The resolution was introduced to the house by the Democrats following the air strike by the U.S. against Iran that killed Iran's top commander, Qassem Soleimani, leading to Iran responding to the attack by firing a volley of missiles to U.S. military bases in Iraq, killing no U.S. military agent, as they were absent at the time of the attack.

This vote on the resolution in the house was 224 to 194, with three Republicans siding with the Democratic party that would set the limits to the engagements of the military against Iran as authorized by Donald Trump without the approval of Congress.
