Uche Jombo Speaks On Idolization Of Pastors

Nollywood actress Uche Jombo has spoken about the idolization of many pastors by their congregation members.

On her Twitter page, the actress stated that so many pastors have successfully enslaved so many people mentally.

According to her, many people have derailed from the primary focus which should have been knowing and worshiping God to idolize their religious leaders.

"Many people are enslaved mentally by pastors when the focus should be knowing and worshipping God."

This is coming after the General Overseer of Commonwealth of Zion Assembly (COZA) Pastor Biodun Fatoyinbo was embroiled in a fresh controversy.

Nnenna Kalu-Ude, a former choir coordinator alleged that Pastor Fatoyinbo is responsible for the death of her friend, Tega Akpofure, who was also a choir member.

In a lengthy post on her Instagram story, Kalu-Ude accused Fatoyinbo of maltreating workers of the church and also suppressing his critics through occultic powers.

She claimed people who want to speak up about the “evil” going on in the church either fall ill or die mysteriously.

However, the deceased's husband, Rhema Akpofure warned anyone having issues with the COZA pastor and others to take out the name of his wife as Fatoyinbo is a good man.
