UCL: Ancelotti knocks Bayern Munich complaints over offside

Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti believes Bayern Munich's sense of injustice over the last gasp win of his team Tuesday night in the semifinals, second leg of the UEFA Chapions League holds no water.

Madrid went down to an Alphonsus Davies' goal but rallied to score twice through Joselu who came off the bench to become the match winner.

Bayern almost took the game to extra time when Matthijs de Ligt swept the ball home in the 13th minute of added time, only for it to be disallowed due to a dubious offside in the build up.

Bayern were incensed by the decision but Ancelotti in his post match press conference has played down the significance of that call.

"Bayern complained about the offside? Ok, so we complain about the cancelled goal of Nacho because Kimmich dived," Ancelotti argued.

"If they complain about that then we can complain about our goal that was disallowed. Both players were pushing each other and it's Nacho who gets penalised."

The LaLiga champions will take on Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League final at Wembley  on June 1 for a chance to secure a third trophy of the season, having also lifted the Spanish Super Cup.

Real are gunning for a 15th European title.
