Chelsea

Struggling Chelsea achieved a remarkable comeback to reach the quarterfinals of the Champions League. After losing the first leg against Borussia Dortmund, the English side managed to secure a 2-0 win at Stamford Bridge to level the tie and advance to the next round.

The first half of the game saw Chelsea dominate possession and create several chances.

However, it was not until just before halftime that Raheem Sterling scored a well-deserved goal for the hosts.

Sterling's goal levelled the tie and gave Chelsea momentum going into the second half.

In the 53rd minute, Chelsea were awarded a penalty which was converted by Kai Havertz.

However, the penalty had to be retaken due to encroachment, causing some controversy.

Nonetheless, Havertz remained calm and coolly slotted the ball into the back of the net for his team's second goal of the match.

Chelsea held on to secure the win and advance to the quarterfinals of the Champions League.

The victory will surely boost the morale of the team, especially given their struggles in the Premier League this season.

It would also give manager Graham Potter some relief given the criticism he has endured with the poor performance of the club since he took over from Thomas Tuchel.
