UCL: Man Utd Faces German Test After Passing French Test

UCL: Man Utd Faces German Test After Passing French Test

Manchester United faces two of the last year semifinalists in the UEFA Champions League with the English team already winning against Paris Saint-Germain and would welcome RB Leipzig to Old Trafford for the second test.

AllNews believes that United will be proving if they are UCL-worthy in their fixture against Leipzig as they already faced PSG in France and won convincingly.

United already has a bad start losing on matchday 1 of the EPL to Crystal Palace at home, destruction to Tottenham with a 6-1 scoreline on home turf.

They seem to have bounced back from the defeat after the international break winning against Newcastle, PSG, and a draw with Chelsea.

Winning the match against Leipzig could crown their efforts and pull some pressure off United and Ole Gunner after recently coming under criticism.

Solskjaer's team became the first United side since the 1972/73 season to fail to win any of their opening three home league matches -- leaving them languishing in the lower ends of the table.

Solskjaer has speculated that one reason for the drop-off in home form is the change of routine during the lockdown period. He is also desperate for the return of fans to add noise and colour.

The manager changed the pre-match routine before the Chelsea game in an effort to turn around his side's Old Trafford fortunes, taking them to stay in a hotel the night before the game.

Despite United's inconsistency, defender Luke Shaw believes they are heading in the right direction.

Angelino Returns To Manchester

RB Leipzig left-winger, José Ángel, also known as Angelino, has been on scoring form with his brace against Basaksehir.

The Spaniard is on loan to Leipzig from Manchester City and would be returning to Manchester United with Leipzig in the UCL fixtures.

Having failed to nail down a place in the Manchester City first team under Pep Guardiola, the fast-pacing left-wing back is now lighting up Leipzig under their young coach Julian Nagelsmann.

The outstanding performer for the Bundesliga leaders this season, Angelino has picked up four goals from seven games.

He will be returning to Manchester but to Old Trafford to make a point so loud, their neighbour Etihad would hear it.
