UCL: Rashford Late Strike Seals United Win Over PSG In Paris

Manchester United forward, Marcus Rashford late strike seals Manchester United win over Paris Saint-Germain in Paris after the French Champions could not score for themselves in a 1-2 scoreline of the UEFA Champions League.

AllNews understands that PSG could not score with the top stars present for the team barring an own goal it might have ended 0-2 in Paris.

United was the first to draw blood in the match after Diallo's foul on Anthony Martial was spotted as a penalty.

The United skipper for the night in the absence of Harry Maguire, Bruno Fernandes stood up to take it but Keylor Navas parried it away. VAR review showed Navas moved off the line before the ball was kicked, it had to be retaken!

Bruno made no mistake this time around, playing it in the same direction but Navas guessed wrong and it was 1-0 to Manchester United.

PSG could not get the ball over the line but Martial did it for them in a corner taken by Neymar, Martial headed it ball into his own net in a bid of clearing it out left De Gea fuming with a well-placed header.

It seems Manchester United will be going back to England with 1 point after the 80th minute of play.

On the stroke of the 87th minute, Pogba found Rashford at the edge of the box with his back turned to the net, he lost his mark before drilling a fast-moving low ball into the bottom left corner. Navas no chance.

Marcus Rashford became one of the youngest player to captain Manchester United senior team after Bruno was subbed off, he was given the captain armband.

United could have topped Group H but Leipzig won 2-0 against Basaksehir so they topped the table instead, with the goal difference.
