UCL: Real Madrid Only Spanish Team In Round Of 16 [FULL LIST]

After Matchday 5 of the UEFA Champions League, 12 teams have booked a spot in the next round of the competition with reigning champions Real Madrid the only La Liga team to qualify.

There are now four spots left in the next round to be filled up -- with Tottenham Hotspur, AC Milan, Frankfurt or Sporting Lisbon, Leipzig or Shakhtar Donetsk.

The results showed a massive decline in the competitive ability of the Spanish teams as Barcelona, Sevilla, and Atletico Madrid are facing Europa League.

Atleti could even be dropped out of Europe if Bayer Leverkusen claim more points on the final match day.
