Juventus secured a 2-0 victory over Freiburg to advance 3-0 on aggregate, thanks to goals from Dusan Vlahovic and Federico Chiesa as the Old Lady continued their pursuit of European glory.

After taking the lead in the first leg, Juventus were eager to maintain their advantage and came close to scoring early on as Vlahovic netted from close range.

However, the goal was disallowed after a VAR review ruled it offside.

Despite the setback, Vlahovic remained determined and broke the deadlock just before halftime, converting a penalty after Manuel Gulde handled the ball in the box and was subsequently shown his second yellow card.

With Freiburg reduced to ten men, Juventus controlled the game and eventually sealed their victory with a late goal from Chiesa.

Meanwhile, Sevilla, who have won the competition six times in the past, suffered a 1-0 defeat against Fenerbahce but still progressed to the quarter-finals with a 2-1 aggregate scoreline.

Enner Valencia scored the only goal of the game from the penalty spot, but Sevilla held on to advance despite sustained pressure from the hosts in the second half.

In other matches, Feyenoord produced an astonishing performance to defeat Shakhtar Donetsk 7-1 on the night and progress to the last eight with an 8-2 aggregate scoreline.

Roma secured their place in the quarter-finals with a goalless draw against Real Sociedad, while Bayer Leverkusen won 2-0 away at Ferencvaros to complete a 4-0 aggregate victory.

Finally, in the UEFA Conference League last 16, Fiorentina secured a 4-1 victory over Sivasspor to triumph 5-1 on aggregate, but Lazio were eliminated after losing 2-1 away at AZ Alkmaar.

West Ham and Anderlecht also advanced to the next round with comprehensive victories over AEK Larnaca and Villarreal respectively.
