Nigerian Artist Stanley Omah Didia alias Omah Lay, Temilade Openyi alias Tems and Muyiwa Awomiyi have been charged to court in Makindye, Uganda on charges of Negligently doing acts likely to spread an infectious diseases C/S 171 of the Penal Code Act.
The Ugandan police had said the earlier plans of releasing them on police bond were suspended after their casefile was sanctioned by the Office of the DPP. They were jointly charged with four other Ugandans. All remanded till Wednesday 16.12.2020.

AllNews had earlier reported that Omah Lay said everything will be alright, and efforts are being made to ensure his release.
The entertainer is expected to remain in custody till Wednesday after flouting COVID-19 rules by performing to a large audience.
Omah Stanley Dibia, popularly known by his stage name ‘Omah Lay’ is a Nigerian-born singer, songwriter, and producer who started producing music at the age of 15.
