Ultimate Love Season 1: Everything You Should Know About This New Reality Show

 

For four years now, big brother has been the top reality show for Nigerians and Africans generally. From the exciting moments of welcoming the housemates to the highlights of drama and down to the last 99days of the show, it has been a whole series of fun.

However, there’s yet another exciting reality show dubbed the ULTIMATE LOVE and sequel to the big brother setting it ridiculously masterminded to help adult Nigerians find a life partner.

Just like the big brother show, we will be bringing highlight from the new reality show, Ultimate Love, for the next eight weeks.

What is the show about?

The ultimate love is a reality TV show that was launched on Sunday, February 9, 2020, on Africa magic channel 198.

As unbelievable as it may seem, the reality show stars 16 strangers who are single from age 23-35 now addressed as Love Guests who have come together to find love.

Just like the Big Brother Naija's concept, this show is supervised by a Love Doctor, counsellor and the Editor-in-Chief of Today’s Woman magazine, Adesuwa Onyenokwe, who is addressed in the show as ‘AUNTY’.

AUNTY will play an advisory role of counselling the contestants on love and relationship using herself as a modest example. Comparing her role in the show to Big Brother Naija, she will be playing the administrative role just like ‘Biggie’.

How it works

The rule of the game is to find love. So, the 16 strangers are paired together, giving it a total of eight couples, for a show that will last eight weeks.

As simple as it may seem, the couple with the highest number of votes on the last day becomes the champion and ultimate love.

Although these housemates will play as a single contestant for a period of two weeks, before being paired with another.

The price: What are they playing for?

Is this a matchmaker or what? The terms are freaky and funny as eight couples in the house are playing to win a traditional wedding and a fully furnished apartment but on a condition that both couples marry.

What happens if they decide to part ways?

If both winning couples do not fancy themselves enough to get married to, cash prizes and other prizes yet to be disclosed will be given to them.

Task and nominations

Task and nominations will unfold gradually over the space of time as there are no rules now. Slowly, tasks will unfold for the contestants just like in Big Brother Naija. Just chill and enjoy the new matchmaking show on trend now.
