The 13th Governing Council of the University of Jos (UNIJOS) has extended the tenure of the Registrar of the university, Monday Danjem, by an extra year.
This development was disclosed by the school’s Deputy Registrar for Information and Publications of the university, Abdullahi Abdullahi.
Abdullahi disclosed to the media that the Pro-Chancellor and Chairman of the Governing Council, Prince Tony Momoh, on behalf of the governing council, considered the favourable recommendation of the Vice-Chancellor, Seddi Sebastian Maimako and approved the extension of the registrar’s tenure with immediate effect from June 24, 2021, for a period of one year.

The extension was explicitly stated in a letter to the registrar conveying the decision of the governing council to extend his tenure.
Maimako also added that the decision, jointly reached with the governing council, was informed by the excellent performance of the registrar who was praised for his competence and hard work.
