Professor Tanko Ishaya, the new Vice-Chancellor of the University of Jos, Plateau State, has asked Governor Abdullahi Sule of Nasarawa State to provide a functional state website which can be accessible.

Ishaya expressed disappointment over the 'outdated website of the Nasarawa State Government.

This is coming barely a few weeks after Engineer Abdullahi A. Sule was named 'Digital Governor of The Year' by an Abuja-based ICT group.

Ishaya, a seasoned ICT expert and academician disclosed this weekend at the TA'AL Conference Hotel, Lafia.

He expressed shock to find out that the state doesn't have a functional website to inform citizens with up-to-date information.

He, therefore, appealed to the Engineer Sule-led state government, to have a functional website that provides citizens with all information as far as the governance of the state is concerned, to get the citizens in the know of actions of government as this also creates transparency in government and gain the confidence of the people.
