The Special Visitation Panel set-up to investigate the management crisis of the University of Lagos (UNILAG) has submitted its report of findings to the Minister of Education, Mallam Adamu Adamu.
Receiving the report on behalf of the president in Abuja from the visitation panel headed by Prof. Tukur Sa’ad, Adamu said the report of the panel will be carefully examined with the ai of full implementation.
It will be recalled that the FG had earlier set up a visiting panel to investigate the removal of Toyin Ogundipe by the institution's governing council.

However, at the inauguration, Adamu warned the Sa'ad led panel against interfering with the activities of the institution's management and vice versa.
Speaking after handing over the report to the minister of education, the Chairman of the panel, Professor Tukur Sa’ad, expressed optimism that the submitted report will end the university crisis.
It will be recalled that the Wale Babalakin-led Governing council of UNILAG in August voted for the removal of Toyin Ogundipe as the Vice-Chancellor of the institution.
The decision of the governing council was however kicked against by the University's Senate, the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU), Non-Academic Staff Union of Universities (NASU) on the grounds the governing council failed to meet the needed requirement to effect his removal.
