UNILORIN Commences Post-UTME For 25,000 Candidates

Post-Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) has begun for 25,00 admission seekers at the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN).

According to the university’s Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic), Prof. Abayomi Omotesho, the Computer-Based Test (CBT) is part of the pre-admission screening of candidates for the 2022/2023 admission and will take place from February 13 to 17.

Omotesho assured that arrangements have been put in place to ensure the smooth conduction of the CBT.

He noted that the test will be concluded on February 16 while February 17 will be for students who failed to sit for the examination within the four days originally fixed for it.

The DVC urged parents to ensure their wards abide by the rules of the examination which will be conducted on the institution's campus.

“We are appealing to the candidates to maintain decorum while assuring that the university has sufficient capacity to handle the number of candidates enrolled for the test,” he said.

He also alerted the candidates to be cautious of scammers and urged them to visit the university's official platforms for more information.

Omotesho instructed the admission seekers to be punctual to the examination centre as scheduled, adding  “they are expected to dress decently as the University places great emphasis on decent dressing on its campus”.
