UNILORIN Final-Year Students To Resume October 24, Others December

The management of the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN) has ordered final-year students of the institution to resume on Monday, October 24, 2022, following the suspension of the strike by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).

The announcement is contained in a press release co-signed by the Executive President and the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the university's Students' Union, Taofeek Waliu and Olabode Stephen respectively and issued on Friday.

The statement also stated that freshers and returning students are to resume on Thursday, December 15, 2022.

However, students from the faculties of  Veterinary Medicine and Agriculture, who were yet to complete their examination when the ASUU strike commenced, would also resume on October 24.

According to the statement, the school's hostels will be opened next Monday to accommodate the students mentioned above and other students from the Faculty of Education on teaching practice and peer teaching program.
