“Aside from the giant trophy won by the team, a member of the University of Ilorin’s contingent, Olafisoye Tolulope, also clinched another trophy for emerging as the Overall Best Speaker at the tournament,” the publication added.

In his reaction, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Wahab Egbewole, praised the team for making the university proud.

Egbewole in a statement signed by the University’s Director of Corporate Affairs, Kunle Akogun, applauded members of the team for their exceptional performance.

According to the VC, the performance of the team again confirmed the quality of service delivery available at the university, which he said makes it the nation’s most sought-after institution.
