The Vice-chancellor of the University of Ilorin, Professor Wahab Egbewole, on Thursday in Ilorin denied a Facebook account and messenger carrying his name.
The denial is contained in a statement by Kunle Akogun, Director of Corporate Affairs, University of Ilorin.
According to the statement, the account and its messages were fake and written by individuals to mislead unsuspecting members 0f the public.
It further urged the public to the careful of tricksters who execute all forms of atrocities in the Vice-Chancellor's name, while also warning the perpetrators to desist from such actions.
