The Director of Baptist Mission Schools, Nigerian Baptist Convention, Dr Tide Olalere, has defended the N4,700 fee charged by the school for registration of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2021.

Amid its preparation for the conduct of the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) 2021, the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has clarified that it was not intent on portraying Baptist Mission Schools as extortionist.
The board stated that the incident that happened during an inspection of the registration exercise of the UTME 2021 in the Southwest was to demystify from students on the issue of mismatch of candidates’ data. Read more here.
The Police have arrested two suspects over their alleged involvement in impersonation during the 2021 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) registration.
