Uzodimma Blames Politicians For Insecurity In Imo

The Governor of Imo State, Hope Uzodimma have blamed politicians in Imo State for the insecurity in the state.

The governor who said this during the 2022 Imo Prays Session organized by Church of Nigeria, Anglican Communion pleaded with politicians to embrace the peace of God.

Uzodimma who acknowledged the importance of prayer in the war against insecurity and maintenance of peace in the state disclosed that the peace Imo enjoy today came from God's intervention through the prayers of the Church and all well-meaning Imolites. 

While commending the Church, he reiterated that the insecurity in the State is politically contrived and called on all aggrieved to shield their swords and embrace lasting peace in God.

The prayer conference themed: At the Name of Jesus was hosted by His Rev. David C.O. Onuoha and prayers were made for the peace, Prosperity of the State.
