Valentine's Day: Nadia Buari Sheds Light On Real Romance

Ghanaian actress, Nadia Buari has taken to her social media page to share her introspection on what real romance is as the world set to celebrate Valentine's day on Sunday, February 14.

According to the multi-award-winning actress in a post shared on her Instablog story said that real romance isn't about buying flowers or pieces of jewellery for one's lover but about the little things that are done every day.

She wrote: "I think a lot of people don't understand what real romance is. Anyone can buy flowers, candy and jewellery, there is no love in that.

" The truly romantic things in life are those little things we do every day to show you care and you are thinking of them. It is going out of your way to make them happy.

"The way you hold her hand when you know she is scared, or you save the piece of cake for him. The random text in the middle of the day, just to say 'I Love You or 'I Miss You'

"The way he stops to kiss you when he passes by. It is dedicating her favourite song to her and letting her eat your fries, telling her she is beautiful even when she is in her sweats with her hair in a ponytail and no makeup.

"It is about putting your favourite movie on pause so that she can tell you about her day, and laughing at his joke even the really lame ones. It is slow dancing in the kitchen and kissing in the rain.

"Romance isn't about buying is about giving. True romance is in the gestures.
