Venita Akpofure Says BBNaija's Alumni Lie Too Much

Former Big Brother Naija housemate Venita Akpofure has said that the reality show's alumni lie too much about things and it is getting toxic at this point.

In a tweet on Sunday evening, Venita said that lies like that coupled with social media propaganda are capable of putting followers and fans under unrealistic pressures.

Her tweet caused controversy as netizens could not help but link Venita's tweet to her colleague Ifu Ennada's earlier claim.

Ennada had claimed that her black skull-filled outfit styled by Toyin Lawani for the recently-concluded African Magic Viewers Choice Award (AMVCA) costs $100k which is over N41 million.

The outfit had caused a massive stir on social media and while reacting to that, Ennada asked critics not to speak on her outfit if they don't have the minimum of $10k stashed in a domiciliary account.

Revealing her outfit inspiration, Ennada said she wanted to bring MET Gala to AMVCA and not just to win the best-dressed award.
