Victims Of Trafficking Rescued By NATIP In Kebbi State

29 trafficking victims have been rescued in Kebbi State by the National Agency for Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP).

This was confirmed to journalists in Birnin Kebbi on Saturday by Misba'u Iya-Kaura, the zonal commander in charge of the states of Kebbi, Sokoto, and Zamfara.

According to him, the agency, working with the Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) and NATAL, saved 21 victims at the Kangiwa axis while they were travelling to Senegal, and the other eight were saved elsewhere in the State.

The victims, who were from the states of Ondo, Kano, Kaduna, and Zamfara, according to the zonal commander, were primarily between the ages of 18 and 24.

Iya-Kaura requested the support, assistance, and cooperation of the general public to combat traffickers' activities all over the nation.
