VIDEO: Barry Jhay's Sister Speaks On Involvement In Kashy's

Olaronke Balogun, the elder sister to Nigerian singer, Barry Jhay, has spoken up on the alleged involvement of her brother in the death of his boss and CEO of Cash Nation Record Label, Babatunde Oyerinde Abiodun aka Kashy Godson.

Recall that Kashy died after falling off a balcony in Ghana. Although the details of his death is still sketchy, the police believe that Kashy’s death is in connection to the video Barry Jhay posted of his bloodied mouth where he accused the late Kashy Gordon of injuring him during a confrontation hours before his death.

Speaking on the allegation in an interview with BBC Yoruba, Balogun stated that her brother was not at the scene when the incident happened but is only connected to the death because he was in Ghana at the time.

According to her, she first got wind of the disagreement between the deceased and Barry Jhay after sighting a video of her brother's bloodied mouth on social media. Speaking on the altercation, Balogun said that friends were bound to have disagreements and also spoke on how the duo had a great bond before the incident.

Speaking further in the interview, she said there are rumours that Kashy was battling with some issues prior to his death. She added that the family lawyer is presently in Ghana with the suspect and that there is little the family could do as the police have to carry out a proper investigation.

In conclusion, she vouched that her brother could not be involved in Kashy's death and hoped the investigation will be concluded on time to prove that.
