...Fani Kayode Claims He Caught His Wife 'Sleeping' With Naval Officer

A video showing the aftermath of the period Femi Fani-Kayode, a former Nigerian minister allegedly caught his wife in bed with a navy captain, Idenyi Akpa has emerged.

AllNews understands that Fani-Kayode and wife, Precious Chikwendu have separated over unresolved issues.

Weeks after the news of their separation broke, a clip depicting an altercation between 'FFK' and his estranged wife has emerged.

This online news platform learnt that Major Gen. Patrick Akpa (rtd.) is the father of Idenyi Akpa who was allegedly caught in bed with Precious in an Abuja hotel last December. He was a former commandant of NDA.

In the 21-second video obtained by Sahara Reporters, Fani-Kayode, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), was heard accusing Precious Chikwendu of always fomenting trouble.

“Everybody wants peace but no for you, it must be insults and abuses. What’s your problem for God’s sake,” Fani-Kayode fired at her.

She replied to the former Minister that he was to blame, saying “you have been abusing me since and I said no word to you. Leave me alone.”

Fani-Kayode retorted “who the hell are you? Come on, come, and carry this thing.”

Meanwhile, reacting to the video posted by Sahara Reporters, Fani-Kayode said: “SaharaReporters posted a video which supposedly depicts me ABUSING my estranged wife. This is nothing but a propaganda video. There was NO physical abuse.

“I simply took the phone from her to stop her from recording me after catching her in bed with a married man days earlier.”

Fani- Kayode insisted that he had never abused his wife.

His words: “I repeat there was NO physical abuse whatsoever and she had been insulting and subjecting everybody, including family members, staff and children, to PHYSICAL and VERBAL abuse the whole day. As usual, it was a nightmare!

“My words in the video are self-explanatory. I urge those that watched it to listen to those words carefully. I told her that everyone wanted peace except for her and all she did was indulge in scandal after scandal. I have NEVER physically abused my estranged wife,” Fani-Kayode stated.
