VIDEO: First Bank Security Guard Dies Suddenly Inside ‘Dan

A security guard with First Bank of Nigeria Limited suddenly gave up the ghost on Thursday evening while in a ‘Danfo’, a van that conveys passengers, at Abule Egba area of Lagos State.

The man, Mutairu Olaniyi worked at Super branch of the first generation bank.

Abdullahi Iyanda, the deceased boss who spoke to AllNews reporter on phone said the Olaniyi had been unwell.

Olaniyi’s wife whose name we cannot establish as of the time of writing this report also corroborated Iyanda’s claim.

Officers of the LASEMA Response Unit (LRU) have arrived on the scene.

"He had been sick. But he later became fine," the wife of the deceased explained to AllNews' reporter.

"I told him not to go anywhere because he has high blood pressure. He then asked me how he will be able to feed his family if he doesn't work.

"I told him I'll cater for each of our needs. But he was adamant.

"Later he called one of his bosses, who linked him up with the job at Super bus-stop.

"He goes and comes back every week. But he returned to work yesterday (Wednesday).

"He called me this evening, saying he has chest pain.

"I told him I'd be coming to his area tomorrow (Friday) to take him to a nurse.

"Around 6 pm, he called me again, saying his chest pain is getting severe.

"Last year, he was admitted to a hospital where we spent 15 days.

"He was certified okay, prompting his release at the time."
