A video shared online captures the moment former Nigerian president Olusegun Obasanjo seemingly endorsed the Labour Party presidential candidate, Peter Obi.
Before now, some have claimed that Obasanjo clearly supports the former governor but the former president has never publicly confirmed this.
However, a recent video seems to lend some credence to the speculation as many will no doubt interpret Obasanjo's actions to mean his official endorsement of Obi.
In the 45-second clip posted on Twitter, the former Nigerian leader who is holding the microphone strolls to where Obi is sitting and taking his hand, leads him to where his (Obasanjo's) seat.
The act elicits a round of applause from those present and the Labour Party presidential flag bearer is unable to contain his excitement as he beams for the entirety of the video.
