At the swearing-in ceremony of the reelected Governor of Edo State, Godwin Obaseki, one of his security aides collapsed.
The incident took place while Obaseki gave his speech at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium in Benin City, the state's capital.
Obaseki, alongside his deputy, Philip Shuaibu, took an oath of office, following their win at the last governorship election in the state.
Towards the end of Obaseki's speech, the Aide De Camp (ADC) whose face mask was slightly below his nose, quivered behind the governor before going down.

His descent called the attention of other officials who were around.

Obaseki delivered his address, at first, without noticing what was happening around him, until he rounded-up his speech and glanced behind him to take note of what had occurred.
Although, while the governor exited the stage, the ADC was nowhere to be found in the governor's envoy.
