Video Of Rapper DaBaby's 2018 Fatal Shooting In Walmart Emerges

Video Of Rapper DaBaby's 2018 Fatal Shooting In Walmart Emer

New video surveillance from a Walmart shooting in 2018 has emerged, contradicting rapper Dababy's claim that he killed the man in self-defense.

According to a new video of the shooting released by Rolling Stone, the rapper was the aggressor.

DaBaby, real name Jonathan Kirk, shot Craig in a Charlotte, North Carolina Walmart in 2018, claiming self-defense, and no charges were filed against him.

Craig and his friend Henry Douglas, according to DaBaby, were threatening him and his family.

"Daughter could have got hit, son could have got hit," DaBaby said on Instagram after the event.

"Lawyers … telling me not to say nothing … But two [people] walk down on you and your whole … family, threatening y’all, whip out [a gun] on y’all, let me see what y’all going to do."

The new video, however, appears to show DaBaby instigating the fight.

According to Henry Douglas, a witness to the incident, the shooting started when he and Craig recognised DaBaby at the Walmart. Both men then got into an argument about whether or not it was the rapper.

According to DaBaby, he perceived this as the two stalking him in an attempt to start something.

"They’re trying to get me to provoke them so they could pull a gun out," DaBaby told police at the time.
