VIDEO: Policemen Halt Peter Obi Rally In Ebonyi, Disperse Supporters With Teargas

Reports have revealed that 'Obidients' who embarked on a rally in Ebonyi State were dispersed by police who used teargas on the supporters.

According to Daily Post, the incident occurred on Saturday morning as the supporters converged for their one-million-man march.

The 'Obidients' were to take off from the People’s Club area but some thugs allegedly working for another party in the state stormed the venue of the rally.

According to an eyewitness, the police became involved and used teargas on the supporters as they ended up dispersing the crowd.

The policemen were reportedly acting on a directive from the Ebonyi State Government.

As of the time of this writing, it was gathered that the supporters had gathered at the Mile 50 area of the state from where they were set to go ahead with the rally.
