Video: Speaker Gbajabiamila Spotted In ‘Amala’ Joint In Surulere

The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, was spotted in a food canteen, ‘Yakoyo Restaurant’ in Ogunlana Street, Surulere, Lagos recently.

Gbajabiamila who is representing Surulere Constituency 1 of Lagos State in the House of Representatives has been in office since 2003. He has been elected six consecutive times to represent the constituency in the House of Assembly.

He was the House Majority Leader between 2015 to 2019 and Minority Leader between 2011 to 2015.

After winning the sixth election for Surulere 1 constituency, he was elected the Speaker of the House.

According to an eye witness, the Speaker said he was at the restaurant to check how the business has been and to ‘eat Amala and Ewedu’.

The video was posted on Saturday, but it is not clear when it was recorded.
