Lagos residents who have been attacked by thugs bent on disenfranchising them are fighting back as a new clip shows the moment they manhandled one of the hoodlums on Saturday.
The electoral process taking place in different parts of the country has not been exactly smooth as Nigerians are sharing unfortunate tales and uploading videos on social media.
In the Okota region of Lagos State, an unfortunate thug got more than he bargained for when the voters pounced on him in anger, presumably after he tried to disrupt the voting process.
A video posted online shows the moment he is beaten before security operatives arrive at the scene.
Onlookers chant in support as the incident unfolds, relieved that unlike in most cases, things went their way.
