Vigilantes Kill 13 Terrorists In Niger State 

13 terrorists believed to be members of ISWAP and Boko Haram were on Thursday killed by vigilantes in Shiroro Local Government Area of Niger State.

The local vigilantes launched a raid on various terrorist camps around Chukuba axis and Sarari axis in Kwaki/Chukuba Ward of Shiroro Local Government.

It was learnt that several of the bandits escaped with various gunshots injuries while several assorted and dangerous sophisticated weapons were recovered from them during the raid.

The Niger State Government had raised alarm over the intention of ISWAP of establishing a caliphate in the State while it stated that some communities have been taken over by Boko Haram elements.

The co-conveners of the concerned Shiroro Youths, Sani Kokki and Bello Ibrahim confirmed the raid, saying that several kidnapped victims were rescued unhurt.

The duo, who saluted the courage and determination of the vigilantes, said they acted on a tip off and reliable information about the location of the terrorist camps.
